8.971 Motion to Terminate Jurisdiction
MOTION TO TERMINATE JURISDICTION
The Department of Children and Family Services,
by and through its undersigned counsel, moves this
court for an order terminating the court’s jurisdiction
and closing the file in the above-styled cause, and as
grounds states:
1. The child(ren) was/were previously adjudicated
dependent and placed into foster care by order of this
court.
2. The child(ren) has/have reached the age of majority
and under chapter 39, Florida Statutes, is no longer
a child and no longer subject to the jurisdiction
of the
juvenile court.
WHEREFORE, the department requests that this
court terminate jurisdiction in the above cause and
that the case file be closed.
