12.380 Failure to Make Discovery; Sanctions
Florida Rule of Civil Procedure 1.380 shall govern the failure to make discovery in family law matters and related sanctions, with the following additions.
(a) A party may apply for an order compelling discovery in the manner set forth in rule
1.380 for the failure of any person to comply with any discovery request or requirement under the family law rules, including, but not limited to, the failure to comply with rule 12.285.
(b) In the case of rule 1.380(c), the court may defer ruling on the party's motion for sanctions until the conclusion of the matter in controversy.
